Camp prices for children and young people

Camp prices include accommodation, meals, staffing, teaching, transport to the various venues, and teaching materials for language camps. Mountain bike hire is included in the camp price where appropriate.

Meeting point

The meeting point (arrival and departure) for all winter camps is at Haute-Nendaz.
  • Arrivals for winter camps on Saturday or Sunday, from 16:30.
  • Les départs se feront le vendredi ou le samedi à partir de 16h00.

Arrival for summer camps on Sunday from 17:30. A meal is served to the children at 19:30.
Departures on Saturday between 09:00 and 11:00.

Insurance

Participants should be insured against the risks of possible accidents during the camps. Children resident abroad must have sickness and accident insurance for Switzerland.

Payment

CHF. 250.- (per week of camp) on registration and the remainder 30 days before the start of the stay, and in all circumstances before the start of the camp. We reserve the right to cancel registrations for which payment is not made on the due dates.

Confirmation of registration

After you register, online on our website or by post, you will be sent confirmation with the latest details of the camp and the list of items to bring.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be sent by registered letter, with the postage mark providing confirmation. Cancellation will incur a CHF 50.- administration fee, and in the event of late cancellation, CJSA reserves the right to charge:
  • 50% of the price of the camp, from the 20th to the 11th day inclusive before the camp start date
  • 100% of the price of the camp, from the 10th to the last day inclusive before the camp start date

If a cancellation is for a health reason, a medical certificate should be sent to us so that we can issue a credit note for the value of the camp, valid for one year.

Once the camp has started, full payment is due, except that when a medical problem arises during the camp necessitating the departure of the participant, a "camp credit" note will be issued, valid for the current season or the following year.

CJSA reserves the right to cancel a camp if insufficient staff are available.

Cancellation in the event of A H1N1 influenza

CJSA (Camps Jeunesse Sports Aventure) will accept cancellations only if official advice has been issued by the public health authorities.

Responsibilities of the parents

The parents or the legal guardian shall accept:
  • Full responsibility for any damage caused, whether or not intentional.
  • Expenses of the return home if the participant is excluded (for drugs, alcohol, violence or damage to equipment).
  • Costs of posting clothing or other personal effects forgotten.

Internal rules

The camps should take place in a positive atmosphere based on mutual respect. The rules will be sent with the confirmation of registration and will be presented and explained at the start of the stay.

Medical records

We should be informed in writing of any medical problem before the start of the camp.

Transport

Each participant should travel to the camp independently.
